The starting salary for this position ranges from $16.75 to $19.85/hour. Shifts for this position are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM or Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Position Summary:

The Food Service Worker is responsible for the clean-up of the meal period for which he/she is responsible. The Food Service Worker is also responsible for providing service in a friendly and congenial manner.

Eskaton Cameron Park is an intimate, home-like senior living community consisting of 47 assisted living units. Our Cameron Park community focuses on wellness, nutrition, and socialization to keep our residents active and thriving. Classic architecture, beautiful landscaping, walking paths, picnic areas, and natural gardens complement the picturesque neighborhood. Eskaton’s dietary department offers desirable shifts on a regular weekly schedule, and our teams work together to prepare and serve gourmet meals for our residents in a collaborative, welcoming and positive environment. Our dietary staff also get to enjoy their evenings as shifts are finished by 8:00 PM.

Qualifications

Education:

High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D.

Training and Experience:

Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred.

Job Knowledge:

Has the ability to read and to follow written as well as verbal instructions and to sort food tray cards. Knowledge of food serving and dish washing sanitary procedures and safety standards in working with cleaning chemicals.

The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.
