The Fiesta Bowl is seeking a Ticket Sales Account Executive to sell all products relating to the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, Guaranteed Rate Bowl and other Foundation events. The primary expectation of this position is to maximize all revenue opportunities of memberships, premium and group tickets through outbound calls, meetings, and generated lead efforts.
This is currently full-time, non-exempt at will position. Compensation is base salary plus commission and will report to the Vice President of Ticketing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Effectively execute sales calls, meetings, and presentations with prospective clients with targeting a range of clientele from community to business leaders to meet established ticketing goals of the organization.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining all clients’ tickets and information through department ticketing system and database (Seat Geek and Salesforce knowledge a plus).
  • Providing customer service for any ticket related issues or questions.
  • Responsible for maintaining a database of contacts, sales contacts, and sales reports.
  • Responsible for servicing Fiesta Legacy Member and group ticket accounts.
  • Representing the Ticket Sales department at various events.
  • Work other Fiesta Bowl events (e.g. Kickoff Luncheon, Par 3 Challenge, Spring Summit, etc.) with a variety responsibilities.
  • Work cohesively with other departments within the organization to effectively execute sales and operations initiatives.
  • Represent the organization in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Build strong relationships with the Fiesta Bowl Committee (Yellow Jacket) members, board members and organizational staff.
Required knowledge/skills/job qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with performance track record focused on excellence.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of ticket sales experience in the sports and entertainment industry with Group Sales and event planning experience preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships through strong daily outbound call prospecting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with teammates and towards team goals.
  • The ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Successful candidates must be able to process information quickly and accurately and exhibit an eagerness to learn best sales techniques from more senior personnel.
  • Enthusiasm, determination & professionalism in dealing with prospects and clients in a proactive manner.
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Candidates with high levels of optimism and persuasiveness will have greater success.
  • Commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
